Which option is right for you?
🌙
Late night arrival
Narita Express (N'EX) and Skyliner stop around 11 PM. The Airport Limousine bus runs later. Taxi to Tokyo is prohibitively expensive (¥20,000–25,000). Plan your arrival time.
👨👩👧👦
Family with luggage
N'EX has reserved seats and luggage space — better for families with multiple bags than the Skyliner. Limousine bus direct to your hotel area is the most comfortable.
💰
Budget traveler
Keisei Limited Express (non-Skyliner) is ¥1,050 and takes 75–80 min to Ueno. It uses the same tracks as the Skyliner but makes more stops.
🚃 IC Card (Suica / ICOCA)
Suica works on Keisei Limited Express and N'EX (not Skyliner). Load your Suica before arriving at Narita if possible — the machines at the airport have English.
💡 IC cards (Suica/ICOCA) work for all options except the Skyliner. The Skyliner requires its own ticket or IC card 'Skyliner & Tokyo Subway Ticket' combo.

- —Terminal 3 is far from T1/T2 — the inter-terminal shuttle bus takes 15–20 minutes and is free
- —The 'Narita-Tokyo discount ticket' combines N'EX + Tokyo subway for ¥4,000 — good deal if taking subway from Tokyo Station
